(EHL) Sawicki Commits to Rivier

Aaron Sawicki, a forward for the Seahawks Hockey Club's EHL team has committed to Rivier University for the 2025-2026 season.

The '04 out of Faribault, MN has been a reliable producer for the Seahawks throughout this season. As the Seahawks have climbed the standings in the new year, his fingerprints have been all over the scoresheet including a hat-trick performance vs H.C. Rhode Island, and a three-game goal scoring streak against all divisional opponents. He now has twelve goals and eight assists on the season.

“We are very happy for Aaron and his family,” said Seahawks head coach and general manger Bill Zaniboni. “Aaron came into the season and had an immediate impact as a lead-by-example guy. With a younger team, having a guy like Aaron jump in with the returning guys helped us go through the ups and downs as well as continue to build a great culture. Rivier is getting a good hockey player and a better person.”

Sawicki will join several EHL alumni, as well as multiple fellow Seahawks at Rivier. The school is located in Nashua, NH, plays in the Division III Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), and is led by head coach Shaun Millerick.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career at Rivier University,” Sawicki said. “I want to thank my family for the sacrifices they have made and the endless encouragement they have given me throughout my career. I would also like to thank Coach Zaniboni and Coach Richard for the opportunities they have given me. I am very thankful for this opportunity, and excited to be a Raider.”
