(EHL) Seahawks All-Star Netminder to Join Rams in Fall
Isak Saldjoughi, a goaltender for the Seahawks Hockey Club EHL team, has committed to Framingham State University for the 2025-2026 season.
An 04’ out of Molndal, Sweden, Saldjoughi is in his second year in the EHL. He’s sported .924 and a .925 save percentages throughout his two seasons. His personal nine game win streak helped catapult the Seahawks into the 3rd place spot in the East Division, as well as earn Saldjoughi February/March Player of the Month honors.
“The Seahawks are very excited for Isak and his family,” Seahawks head coach Bill Zaniboni said. “Not only is Isak an incredible goalie, but a tremendous person. He always had a smile on his face and is always excited to be at the rink and on the ice. Isak trusted the process, moving across the pond, and to see him obtain a position where he is happy is a great accomplishment for him. He’s a two time EHL East All-Star and we are excited to watch him steal games at the NCAA level.”
Saldjoughi joins current Seahawks teammate Jeremy Zecher, as well as others joining the Rams for the upcoming season. They compete in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) under Head Coach Mike Bailey.
“I’m very proud and honored to announce my commitment to Framingham State University,” Saldjoughi said. “I would especially like to thank my family, teammates, and my coaches for helping me get where I am today. A special thanks to Coach Zaniboni, Coach Richard, and the whole Seahawks organization for taking me in and giving me what I needed to succeed. I am super excited for the opportunity that Coach Bailey has given me and can’t wait to get started. Go Rams!”
