(EHL) Zecher Joins Rams in Fall 2025
Jeremy Zecher, a forward for the Seahawks Hockey Club EHL team, has committed to Framingham State University (FSU) for the Fall of 2025.
An 04’ out of Orlando, FL, Zecher is in his second year with the Seahawks. With six goals and three assists, he has matched his total from last season in fewer games. He’s tallied two goals in his last three games, as the surging Seahawks have climbed to the third spot in the East Division.
“We are very happy for Jeremy and his family,” Bill Zaniboni, head coach of the Seahawks, said. “He comes to the rink everyday excited to play and to be with the boys. His energy and positive mindset is contagious. Jeremy competes everyday and the only thing on his mind is to help the team win. It’s nice to have him go to a school that sees the value in a player like this. He will have a great impact at Framingham and the locker room will enjoy him.”
Zecher joins several EHL players that will be joining the Rams for the 2025-2026 season, including fellow East Division rivals Grig Kaagan (BWB) and Cullen Lacey (BJE). They are led by Head Coach Mike Bailey.
“I am very excited and fortunate to have the opportunity to continue both my academic and athletic career at Framingham State University,” Zecher said. “I would like to thank my family for all the sacrifices they have made and the encouragement they have given me throughout my career. This would not be possible without them. I would also like to thank Coach Zaniboni, Coach Richard, and the entire Seahawks organization for the opportunities and guidance they have provided me over the last two years. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Bailey for believing in me as a player and allowing me to continue playing the game that I love. This is an accomplishment that I do not take for granted, and I am looking forward to being a Ram next season.”
